Heat treatment specification: quenching: 880 ºC for the first time, 780 ~ 820 ºC for the second time, water cooling and oil cooling; Tempering 200 ºC, water cooling, air cooling.

The strength and hardenability of SCr420 alloy structural steel are higher than that of 15Cr steel, but the toughness is poor; It has good weldability and does not need heat treatment after welding. SCr420 is used for carburized parts with high central strength and surface wear, large size, or complex shape but low load, such as gears, gear shafts, cams, piston pins, worms, etc. SCr420 can also be used as quenching and tempering parts with high working speed and medium impact load
